Trousedale Mid Century
Portland, Oregon
Design Goals: Remodel and contemporize a 1958 midcentury residence in the Trousdale Hills of Portland, Oregon. Redesign an inefficient kitchen layout & infuse life and character into the outdated kitchen, living room, and dining room.
Mood: Quintessentially mid century but lighter, brighter, and generally more entertaining. Rich palette of deep blues and earthy browns.
Highlights: White minimal shaker cabinet doors | exposed shelving end caps | dimensional ceramic tile | | patina’d brass accents | custom slatted sliding barn door | floating open shelving | louvered vertical walnut slat wall and railing || midcentury wallpaper backing the bar area.
